Raise whole and holy kids

without losing your sanity or sanctity.

A Catholic parenting program that teaches emotional regulation for the whole family!

Catholic parenting waaaay more "sanctifying" than you expected?

If you're like me, you went into this vocation imagining your little row of future saints quietly participating in daily Mass, praying Morning Prayer, and enjoying a peaceful rosary walk.

And then you had kids.

Turns out Catholic parenting is a lot more loud and messy and complicated and full of tantrums (yours included) than you expected. And frankly, you're exhausted and feeling like this CANNOT be the vision God has for your family.

It's not. Let me teach you how to raise emotionally-healthy Catholic kids without losing your mind. ⬇

  • A collection of Catholic toys as part of a Catholic emotional regulation kit. From left, a basket with various regulating supplies, like bubbles. A cardboard phone featuring images of Jesus, Mary, The Holy Spirit, God, and saints. A plush doll of King Jesus.
  • A toddler with blonde hair and light blue pajamas practices Catholic emotional regulation using purple play dough from the sensory game she is playing from Catholic parenting program Interior Kingdom
  • A toddler girl with blonde hair and a white shirt wearing cat shaped headphones and holding a pink bunny listening to an audio book. The bunny is holding a sensory reaction card from the Catholic parenting program Interior Kingdom
  • Sensory exploration game pieces from the Catholic parenting program Interior Kingdom featuring a cardboard spinner to the five senses, corresponding cards for each sense, and a basket of toys in the background.
  • A toddler girl with blonde hair sitting on a chair with a binder on her lap, looking at illustrations of children displaying various feelings
  • A toddler girl sitting on the floor by a basket of toys, spinning an emotions game spinner from the Catholic parenting program Interior Kingdom

Meet Interior Kingdom

The Catholic emotional regulation program trusted by hundreds of Catholic families to calm the chaos, learn about emotions, and draw closer to God and each other BECAUSE (not in spite) of big feelings

Understand your own parental triggers

Learn how to connect instead of react

Process emotions through play

Repair, redo, or correct from a place of peace

Grow closer to each other and God

Catholic parenting is exhausting.

You're trying to raise saints for the Kingdom, battling for your kids' souls every day, and take care of them physically, mentally, and spiritually.

And what do you get as a reward? Big feelings. 😵‍💫

Because, you know, you gave them the red cup (when they asked for the red cup), you sliced their banana wrong, and - all you holy men and women, pray for us - you tried put clothes on them or asked them to clean their room.

And so you do one of two things:

Yell (and then feel like a terrible parent)

Or stuff your feelings down and try not to blow up

What if there was a Catholic parenting method that acknowledged everyone's feelings, taught emotional coping skills, and actually allowed you to enjoy your parental vocation?

Emotional regulation, the Catholic way

You know why emotional regulation is so hard? Because we were never taught it ourselves. So you've tried to learn from "parent experts" and emotional regulation courses, but you haven't seen success because:

They make you feel like a parrot, just repeating back feelings (which seems to just make your kids madder?)

Parenting just feels more scripted and stressful without actually making you less likely to boil over.

They require your kid to be able to sit and evaluate their feelings (difficult for neurodivergent kiddos)...and then don't seem to actually resolve anything?

All the New Age content 🤮

That's why so many Catholic families like yours are LOVING Interior Kingdom. It's an emotional regulation program that offers all the coping mechanisms needed for emotional regulation (not just identification) through a unique faith-based lens. In other words, less tantrums, more understanding, and greater connection to God and each other. 🙌

"Finally!  A program about feelings that's Bible-based. I was so turned off by the new-agey programs out there. This one is lovely and the kids really enjoy the language about kings, queens, and a castle!"

Everything you need to form the Catholic family you want to be

This isn't "just" a course or "just" a calm down corner kit or even "just" a membership - it's all three in ONE program.

Because this isn't a piece of your Catholic parenting style - it becomes your family's way of loving each other like Jesus does.

"...The Understanding Our Triggers module...🤯🤯🤯. Honestly, things that I've been trying to deal with for 10+ years as a parent were literally unpacked in that module. That alone was worth the entire course if we wouldn't have gotten anything else from IK. (But we are reaping other benefits already!!)"

What makes Interior Kingdom different

Faith-based game presentation, which calms our children's nervous system and paves the way for more effective teaching

Teaches actual coping skills (not just emotional identification) and portable, for when tantrums happen, you know, anywhere outside of a 10-foot radius of your Pinterest-perfect calming corner

Focus on co-regulation for the whole family, not just the kiddos

And of course, it's 100% fully in line with our Catholic faith, helping make a natural connection between Christ and a return to peace.

Hi, I'm Johanna, Catholic mom + therapist

When I first became a mom, I tried piecing together emotional regulation tips from Instagram and blogs.

But when none of them actually helped my daughter regulate her emotions (or calm my reactions to them), I did what any Catholic parent would do -

😬 Squashed my feelings down

🙏 Told myself I needed to just "offer it up" for the sake of my kids

🗣️ And tried to make it through the day until bedtime without yelling. (Sound familiar?)

Praise God, I finally tried using the strategies from my therapy practice with emotional regulation, and not only did we learn to co-regulate and bring peace to our Domestic Church, we were stronger in our familial and spiritual relationships than before.

I'd love to share those strategies with your family too. ❤️

I’ve been to a lot of therapy in my life, some helpful, some not so much. But no therapist has taught me as much about regulating my own emotions as this program has….and that’s saying something. 🤯

All that to say, I HIGHLY recommend this program if you’re looking for ways to help your kids and *yourself* with emotional regulation.

What I wish every Catholic parent knew ⬇

Your kids aren't "bad" because they have big feelings. Those emotions are necessary for development and literally given to them by God for a reason (and not just to make you grow in holiness).

Our job as Catholic parents is to help our kids learn to process emotions, not repress them.

Your reaction to your kids’ emotional outbursts? Also totally, 100% normal. This isn't a lack of holiness. Sure, we could all grow in patience, but that isn't the problem here.

And you're right: Catholic parenting isn’t supposed to be this hard. Partially Satan’s fault, partially the fact that you’ve never been taught how to do this.

FREE GUIDE: Take Your Kids to Mass Toolkit

Because somehow "how to stop your child from dropping the kneeler on your foot for funsies" wasn't a required module in Baptism prep. 🙃
